<font size="3">My career in photography began at San Jose State University
in 1957. After college, I served as a photographer and darkroom technician
in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in West Germany. Returning to California in
1965, I produced industrial and military training films for Raytheon
    Electronics.</font></font><font size="1"></p>

    <p></font><font face="VERDANA, ARIAL, HELVETICA, SANSERIF" size="3">From
1969 through 1981, I exhibited and sold my nature photography through West
Coast galleries. I began teaching color darkroom workshops and then expanded
to include field trips. My Pacific Image Photography Workshops offered
adventures in Canada, England, the South Pacific, Hawaii, New England, the
Pacific Coast, the Southwest deserts, and national parks.</font></p>
    <p><font FACE="VERDANA, ARIAL, HELVETICA, SANSERIF"><b>Photograph America
Newsletter</b> includes information gathered from these travels and from
research trips on his own. Back issues are kept updated and reprinted as new
information is added and changes are discovered. Bob travels several months
each year. Last year he explored wildlife refuges along the Louisiana Coast.
Early this year Bob photographed and wrote about California for the
    newsletter.</font></p>
