The Photo Contest: "Hooves"

Understandably, for most people who entering this contest, "Hooves" means horses. And we received a variety of photos of horses. The next was cattle, including bull riders. The images we chose here are teh best examples of photos that adhered to the theme, were technically sound and compositionally interesting.

For Grand prize, I chose Ellie Kaul's collage entitled "Hooves on Parade." It fitted both the spirit and letter of the theme.

Next came "Magic," by Debbie Garcia-Bengochea. Her picture combines the "Ah factor" with good composition.
