United States Photography and Camera Clubs

Arlington Camera Club
Arlington Camera Club in Arlington Heights Illinois meets the 1st and 3rd Wed. of the month at the historical museum.  Club provides competitions, workshops and programs of various related subject matter.

The Baltimore Camera Club The Baltimore Camera Club has, since 1884, has been “The Place” for photo enthusiasts in the Baltimore, MD area to meet. From Sept thru May we meet every Tuesday at 8 P.M. at Mount Washington Methodist Church. (5800 Cottonworth Ave. Baltimore, Md. 21209-3739.) Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Berks Camera Club, Reading, Pennsylvania.
The Berks Camera Club meets every Monday (except in July & August) at 7:30 pm at its club owned building, 40 North Noble Street, Reading, Pennsylvania. Members compete in projected image (slide & digital images) and print competitions. Berks Camera Club also offers educational programs (speakers), local exhibitions of members work, etc.

Camera Club of New York One of New York’s oldest arts organizations, The Camera Club of New York has a long tradition of welcoming both photographers and devotees of photography and encouraging their participation through membership, classes, lectures, exhibitions and the Darkroom Residency Program (the only year-round photo program of its kind in the city).

The Cascade Camera Club
The Cascade Camera Club is the oldest club in Central Oregon. Established 1947. We meet on the first and third Monday of the month at the Deschutes Historical Center. 195 Idaho in Bend. Meetings begin at 7pm. First Monday dedicated to evaluating prints and slides for competition. The third Monday is program night. Membership enthusiasm is high and the quality of work very good.

The Central Maryland Photographers’ Guild
The Central Maryland Photographers’ Guild exists to further the art and craft of photography, with a concentration on educating its members in the areas of photographic technique, use of equipment and in concepts of composition and aesthetics.

The Chicago Area Camera Clubs AssociationThe Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association (founded 1936) is a progressive photographic organization composed of about forty clubs and over 1000 people who are actively engaged in every phase of photography. The club is open to people in the greater Chicago area, including Indiana and Wisconsin.

Cleburne Camera Club – Camera Club in Cleburne, Texas, near DFW Delaware County Camera Club Located in the Greater Philadelphia area and founded in 1937, we have weekly meetings with workshops and shows, as well as slide/print critiques, competitions and an end-of-season awards ceremony. We welcome all newcomers interested in photography regardless of ability or experience!

East Texas Camera Club
Meets second Thursday of the month in the Lodge Room at Gander Mountain in Tyler, Texas at 7 pm.

Eastern Idaho Photographic Society, Idaho Falls, Idaho
EIPS is the photography club of eastern Idaho and Idaho Falls for 25 years. The club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. We do positive critiques of photos, field trips and workshops. EIPS has a juried photo show and public displays photos. Members are ribbon winners at the State Fair and other contests.

Enchanted Lens Camera Club, Albuquerque, New Mexico
The ELCC meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each Month from September through June at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church located at 114 Carlisle Blvd (Corner of Central and Carlisle). Meetings start at 7:00 p.m., but often times workshops presented by members will start at 6:30 p.m. These workshops are usually announced during the prior meeting, as well as on our Yahoo group.

Flatirons Photo Club
Flatirons Photo Club in Boulder, Colorado. The Flatirons Photo Club welcomes anyone who enjoys and wants to learn more about the field of photography.

The Fountain Hills Photography Club
The Fountain Hills Photography Club is becoming known as the premier photo club in the Phoenix area. Anyone with any kind of camera and an interest in improving their photo skills is invited to join.

The Harrisburg Camera Club 
The Harrisburg Camera Club was founded in 1933 and incorporated in 1977. The club and its members are “dedicated to promoting the interest and education of photography.”  Meetings are generally held the second and third Tuesday of each month.  Each year we sponsor a “Photography for Kids” day camp in conjunction with In partnership with the City of Harrisburg Parks and Recreation Programs.  The club is a member Photographic Society of America.

High Desert Photographers, Idaho Falls, Idaho
The High Desert Photographers are a photography club for all skill levels from amateur to pro. We feature monthly photo critiques, field trips, workshops on Photoshop and other software, and lectures with hands-on training in all aspects of photography. First Tuesday of each month, 7:15 PM at St. Stephen’s UCC, Lebanon, PA. Typical meetings have announcements followed by a program, refreshments, and competition.

Loveland Photographic Society, Loveland, CO
Meetings are the second Monday of the month. Activities include competition, programs, field trips. Member PSA, Associated Camera Clubs.

Merrimack Valley Camera Club
MVCC meets weekly, September thru June, in North Andover, Massachusetts. Visitors are always welcome!

The Metro Camera Club of Oklahoma City, OK.
The aims of the Metro Camera Club are the enjoyment, mastery and furtherance of photography through cooperation, effort and good fellowship.

The Metro East Photography Club
The Metro East Photography Club is a non-competitive club open to anyone who enjoys photography. We are located in the St. Louis, Missouri Metro East area and meet in Fairview Heights, Illinois. We welcome all photographers – beginner or experienced photographer; slide, print, digital, color or black & white enthusiast. The Club was formed in 1992 and is still a friendly place for all.

The Nassau County Camera Club
The Nassau County Camera Club, founded in 1934, is the premier club for all amateur photo enthusiasts on
Long Island, N.Y.. Our membership is made up of all levels of expertise in both traditional and digital photography.

New York Botanical Zoological Photographic Society
New York Botanical Zoological Photographic Society is a Bronx based photography club founded in 1953 offering competitions, lectures, workshops, field trips and more.

The Olympia Camera Club, Olympia,Washington
The purpose of the Olympia Camera Club is to learn how to be better photographers through sharing, teaching, guest speakers, and field trips. We hold several meetings on different topics throughout the month and sponsor monthly photographic field trips. You don’t have to be an expert photographer to be welcomed as a member – all you need is an interest in photography.

Olympic Peaks Camera Club, Sequim, Washington
Olympic Peaks Camera Club meets in the old sanctuary (rear building) of the Dungeness Community Church, at 45 Eberle Road, in Sequim, Washington, every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening at 7 pm, January through October, and once in November and December. The first meeting of the month is devoted to print and slide competitions, the second for workshops and presentations. Membership is open to anyone interested in slide or print photography, and only members may participate in the competitions.

Photography Association of Wenatchee (PAW)
PAW is an organization of people with a common interest in photography, dedicated to educating all of those who want to benefit from understanding, learning, teaching, sharing, participating, and showing photography on a regular basis to those living primarily in Chelan and Douglas Counties, Washington.

The Photo Arts Club, Toledo Ohio
The Photo Arts Club is a resident organization at the Toledo Botanical Garden in Toledo, OH. Our purpose is to provide educational opportunities to our members and the public.

The Photographic Federation of Long Island
The Photographic Federation of Long Island is an umbrella organization of some 21 camera clubs from the NY counties of Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of photography. The Federation holds monthly inter-club competitions plus an annual competition to select the best 18 photographs from the thousands submitted each year. It also holds a number of special events during the year including full day seminars with leading experts in the field of photography as well as live photographic shoots. The Federation is a member of the Photographic Society of America.

Photographic Society of Orange County
“A place where members can approach photography with a resolution to reach their creative potential”, and have fun doing it. Founded 7 years ago, we meet the 4th Thursday of each month in Fountain Valley.

Sharp Shooters Camera Club, Montpelier, Idaho
We are a group of photography friends located in the southwest corner of
Idaho. This is an informal group that gets together once a month to share
photography lessons and entertainment.  We have monthly special assignments
that we critique in an easy-going way, without competition.  There are
occasional field trips.  All levels of experience are welcome.

Sierra Camera Club Of Sacramento
The Sierra Camera Club is affiliated with the Photographic Society Of America. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday(7:30pm) of each month at the Shepard Garden & Arts Center 3330 McKinley Blvd.

Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers
Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to photography of the natural environment and is based in the Knoxville, TN, area. Meetings feature highly skilled nature photographers from the region, as well as nationally known artists from across the country. SANP has about 150 members.

South Shore Camera Club South Shore Camera Club, Quincy, Massachusetts welcomes all photographers, both film and digital.  Meetings are held most Tuesday nights from September thru May.  Visit the club website at for additional details, our location, and download our newsletter.

St. Johns Camera Club, St. Johns, MI

St. Catharines Photographic Club
The Club offers you the opportunity to improve your photographic skills through workshops, critiques, digital image and print presentations and the exchange of ideas. Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from September through April at 7:30pm. St. Paul Camera Club

Suffolk Camera Club The Suffolk Camera Club meets the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00PM at the Bohemia Rec. Center, Ruzicka Way, Bohemia, NY. We have monthly competitions, in addition to workshops and model shoots.

Teton Photography Group is dedicated to advancing photography as an art form through networking and education. We have free public presentations on the third Monday of every month starting at 6 PM at the Art Association of Jackson Hole, Jackson, Wyoming.

Prince George Photographic Society
We are interested in all forms of photography, including black & white prints, colour prints, slides, digital technology, and the use of computers to enhance our photo taking experience. We like to participate in national and regional photo competitions, and we try to get “out in the field” as often as we can. We share our knowledge of cameras, lenses, filters, flashes and accessories, photographic techniques, and computers. RA Photo Club of Ottawa
Our member’s interests cover all aspects of photography from table top to the vistas of nature. Available for members use is an on-site fully equipped darkroom for the processing of both color and black and white material, a well equipped photography studio, a range of audio-visual equipment and for year 2000 we are adding a digital workstation comprised of a high end computer and slide scanner. Our members regularly conduct workshops, demonstrations, organize field outings, and take part in regular local, regional and national photography competitions.

Tauranga Photographic Society, Tauranga, NZ
