Facts Page:
What you will need to know about our classes.
- No Pressure: It's
all up to you - there's no one looking over your shoulder or
saying you need to do this today - pick the time and place
that's convenient for you, as long as all assignments are
completed within the length of a particular class. Just enjoy
your photo learning and shooting experience. You are free to
interact through the online Forum with the instructor or other
students at any time you choose.
- If you are
wondering how many hours per week you must commit to a class, we
feel that is totally up to you, the student:
What amount of time and effort you put into the
course is relative to what level of success you choose to
achieve.
- Camera & Equipment Needed:
You may use either a digital or film camera. If
using film, most labs can transfer your film into digital
formats to be uploaded. And of course, you need a computer which
has internet access. If you don't own a computer, most libraries
have computers which are available for use. Most of your time,
for most classes, will be in the field.
- Limited number of students per class:
You, the student, are our priority, so
class sizes will vary according to the amount of individual
attention that a class may require.
- You Retain the Copyright for Your Photos:
Apogee Photo Class Members will retain the copyright to the
photos they upload to the Apogee Photo Online Class web site.
- Fees, Payment Plan & Money Back
Guarantee: Fees may vary with each
class, according to the length of the class. Fees are subject to
change at any time.
You may pay via Credit Card through the Apogee PayPal(tm)
account or by check or money order. If paying by check,
the check must arrive least 5 days prior to the class, so it can
clear the Apogee Photo bank.
If you choose not to use PayPal for your credit card payment,
please call us directly at 303-948-3539 with
your credit card number.
- Payment Plan: We
are going to think "out of the box" here - when you pay via a
Credit Card, that IS a payment plan. You get to pay as little or
as much as you want, when you want.
- Money Back Guarantee:
We are very confident that you will gain much
knowledge and benefit from our classes, but if for any reason
you choose to pull out of the class, it must be done within 7
days of the start date of the class, in order to receive a
refund of your money.
- Skill Levels:
Each individual instructor will post what will be required in
order for you to get the most benefit from his or her class.
- Critiques: Every
instructor has his/her own style of critiquing, so refer to the
class outline to learn about each instructors style. But
no matter the style, each critiques' purpose is to help you
learn to see more clearly and become more creative, while
helping you to develop into the best photographer you can be.
Critiques are supportive and positive in nature with an
attempt to provide information about the images that can lead to
longer discussions on other topics.
- Required or Suggested Reference Materials:
Each instructor will direct you to any
material that you must have for the course or other suitable material
that may be helpful to you.
