What Happens Next?

After registering for a class, you will be sent a confirmation letter via email.

At least two days prior to your class beginning you will be sent instruction on how to gain access your particular class and how to utilize the pages within the site.

This is an interactive site with your instructor and the other students in the class, so you will be able to participate in the Forum by posting your questions/answers or thoughts. Communication will be the key for a positive learning experience.

If your instructor has not posted all of their classes ahead of time, every Monday, your instructor will post your new weekly lesson and new photo assignment. You may read it online or print it out for reference in the field during your photo shoots. This may vary depending on the instructor and class.

Typically, you will have up to eight days to complete a particular assignment, so you will upload your text and/or photos to the class web site no later than the the following Monday - this may vary with the instructor or the class you are taking. Pick what you feel are your three most favorable photos for critique/review. By uploading to the open Forum, all the students in a class will have the advantage of benefiting from all critiques and all students will have the opportunity learn from the others.

You will also have private access to your instructor via email. And please remember, every question is a good question from which all in the class can learn. So, it may be appropriate for your instructor to share your question on the Forum with all the students.

You will be given an honest & educational critique/review, directed towards developing your skills to become the best photographer you can be. These critiques will be visible to other student who are also encouraged to participate in the discussion of your images.

That's it: it's easy, it's fun and it can take place from anywhere in the world and at any time of the day.
