Tip of the Week

I seal my film in double zip-up plastic bags and pack it into a large cooler chest. Instead of pouring in loose ice cubes that melt and make a soggy mess of everything, I fill two large, 5"-wide-mouth plastic bottles with water and freeze them solid in the freezer. Packed in the cooler with my film, these ice-filled bottles stay frozen for about two days. When they melt, I have drinking water. Then I refill them from the ice machines in motels and with bags of ice I buy at markets when I’m camping.
