The Photo Contest: National Parks

We didn't have the number of entries we had hoped for but we did get very good entries.

The winner was John Stier. He will receive a year's subscription to "Photo Techniques". The next contest is "Still Life." And yes, we did make a mistake. We failed to upload the correct announcement for this contest, so we are extending the deadline to November 23, 1997. The following contest will begin our new "Apogee Assignment." The subject matter will be "Trees" and have particular requirements, just as if you had received a request from a stock agency. It will be judged by two stock photographers and the winner will win both a year's subscription to "Photo Techniques" and also an opportunity to have his or her portfolio reviewed by a stock agency.
