Can You Guess What This Is?

A photography game for very young people...

by Noella Ballenger

This is a game to see if you can guess what plant this is and if you know what we do with it.  To play:

  1. Print the word of the product in the spaces below the picture.

  2. Draw a line from the picture to the word.  If you wear the product, make the line red.  If you eat the product, make the line blue.
  3. After you identify the plant, draw a line from the picture to the fact about the plant.

FUN FACTS ABOUT THESE PLANTS

1.    Mom always says to eat these to make you see better.

2.    I grow as tall as an “elephant’s eye” and I taste good in the summer.

3.    I start out as a grape but after a suntan I become something else.

4.    Nothing is wasted with me.  They use my fibers for your shirt, squeeze my seeds to make cooking oil, use the seeds for animal feed and then plow me back to make the soil better.

5.    I taste really good at picnics when they chop me up to make a salad.
