Can You Guess What This Is?

A photography game for very young people...

This is a game to see if you can guess what animal this is.  To play:

1.     Print the word of the animal in the spaces below the picture.

2.     Draw a line from the picture to the word. After you identify the animal; draw a line from the picture to the fact about the animal.

FUN FACTS ABOUT THESE ANIMALS

1.     I am not a rabbit at all – even though I look like one.   I am a hare.   Rabbits are helpless at birth and have to grow their fur.  I am born with fur and can run and play right away.

2.     I like to fish and live near water.  I am a tall bird with long legs and with big wings.  My long legs let me wade in the water.

3.     I live in hives, gather pollen and produce honey while pollinating the farmer’s crops.  Because I spread pollen from flower to flower, seeds are produced to make new plants grow.

4.     I can be a good mouser or I can sit in your lap and purr.  I make a wonderful companion.

5.     I am endangered and cannot be touched in the wild.  I live in the desert.  I am the largest of the reptiles in the California desert and have been known to live more than 80 years.
