The
Photo Contest:
"It's Not Easy Being Green"
Judging
from the the entries, this was the most challenging contest we have had
in many years. Nonetheless a few photographers submitted excellent
images which you will see here.
Our
Grand Prize winner is
Jeanne M. Mounier and her image
"Life
on a Leaf".
The image was expertly composed and shot and captures the spirit of our
theme. It is a wonderful study of a caterpillar.
The runner-up was equally well-done and
captured the intent of our theme to the upmost.
"It's
Not Easy Doing Farming and Keeping Land Green and Productive"
by
Kailash Mittal
of India, is a beautiful landscape and also sends the message of hard
work and perseverance. The composition is excellent.
