June 20-23,2012: Summer Wildflowers and Scenics in WV When a
place is as wonderful as West Virginia you owe it to yourself to see it
in all of its seasonal glory--every season and summer is no exception.
Glorious Flowers in a Glorious Place - can't get much better. So here
we are again in a different season in a different area of West Virginia.
In these mountains the bugs are few and the nighttimes cool. There is an
abundance of wildflowers mixed in with scenics so numerous we never make
it to all those on the agenda. The wildflowers enhance other
ph
otographic opportunities, stand alone against uninterrupted glory
and/or make for fantastic macro work; placed in the foreground and
photographed with a wide angle they create depth within the photo. We
will shoot along the Greenbrier River Trail, the scenic highway, the
glades, waterfalls, barns, all around town and surrounding towns. For
those of you who know us, you know we will take advantage of every
'photo op' we can find! And even though we provide most of the meals,
food comes second to capturing good light.
