Bill & Linda Lane and Nature's Image Photography Field Workshops
2015: Summer Wildflowers and Scenic in WV
When a place is as wonderful as West Virginia you owe it to yourself to see it in all of its seasonal glory--every season and summer is no exception.   Glorious Flowers in a Glorious Place - can't get much better.  So here we are again in a different season in a different area of West Virginia. In these mountains the bugs are few and the nighttimes cool. There is an abundance of wildflowers mixed in with scenics so numerous we never make it to all those on the agenda. The wildflowers enhance other ph otographic opportunities, stand alone against uninterrupted glory and/or make for fantastic macro work; placed in the foreground and photographed with a wide angle they create depth within the photo. We will shoot along the Greenbrier River Trail, the scenic highway, the glades, waterfalls, barns, all around town and surrounding towns. For those of you who know us, you know we will take advantage of every 'photo op' we can find! And even though we provide most of the meals, food comes second to capturing good light.

September 6-10, 2015:  The Palouse, Echoes of Tuscany – Wait list only

The landscape of the Palouse south of Spokane, Washington often reminds people of Tuscany in Italy. With rolling hills that are actually ancient geological silt dunes, agricultural patterns of wheat and legumes criss-crossing as far as the eye can see, old farm houses and barns, 50s-era towns, old farm machinery and abandoned trucks, this is a photographer's feast. Here, you will have fun seeking your own vision with fellow alumni and advanced photographers.

There is a harvest festival right before the workshop, great for photography, and a film festival right after the workshop!

McKay Photography Academy
September 16-28, 2015 (2 spots left): Greece - Athens, Santorini, Folegandros and Sikinos

Many people that come to Greece, never truly see the “real” Greece.
They get off and on a ship at every port, spend a couple of hours in a touristy area, and then move on, never really experiencing the true culture of a location. Those that have been on our trips know at MPA, we always try to do things no one else can offer and give an experience unlike anything you could find from a “standard” type “tour”.  We pride ourselves in creating photographic tours around the world unlike anything else available at prices that are incredibly reasonable.

With that, we now step back in time, and invite you to experience “true Greece” with us.
