The Photo Contest: "Bridges"

This time around, we chose Michael Lenz's image of a bridge in Florida as the Grand Prize winner of our "Bridges" Contest. I particularly liked the strong diagonal arrangement, as well as the color and lighting. The inclusion of the moon above the bridge was a nice touch.

Racheal Harwell's image of the famed San Francisco landmark was similarly striking. Once again the color of the bridge against the blue sky was very attractive. I also liked the way the clouds broke up the sky and added balance to the composition. The choice once again of a strong diagonal is a fitting arrangement for such an element as a bridge.

We received many images for this contest that were sent in the wrong format, that were too small, or attached incorrectly to your email. Also remember, your images must be sent via email. We will not accept photos sent by regular mail.
