The
Photo Contest:
"Bridges"
This
time around, we chose Michael Lenz's image of a bridge in Florida as the
Grand Prize winner of our "Bridges" Contest. I particularly liked the
strong diagonal arrangement, as well as the color and lighting. The
inclusion of the moon above the bridge was a nice touch.
Racheal Harwell's image of the famed San Francisco
landmark was similarly striking. Once again the color of the bridge
against the blue sky was very attractive. I also liked the way the
clouds broke up the sky and added balance to the composition. The choice
once again of a strong diagonal is a fitting arrangement for such an
element as a bridge.
