Margo Taussig Pinkerton

A professional photographer since 1982, Margo Taussig Pinkerton has traveled the world for travel, corporate, and editorial clients. Her stock images appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Caribbean Travel & Life, GEO, and a host of other journals, calendars, and coffee-table books. With dozens of exhibitions and awards spanning more than three decades, Margo’s photographs are in collections worldwide, including the Beinecke Archives at Yale University. She has also led adventures north of the Arctic Circle canoeing down National and Wild Scenic Rivers.  Margo Taussig Pinkerton

Now retired from commercial and editorial work, Margo and her husband run Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures in which they encourage their participants to seek their own vision. She is a longtime advocate for intellectual property rights and has lectured widely to photographers, illustrators, and art buyers in the US and overseas.

Coming from a many-generational-artistic family, Margo always addresses creativity, aesthetics, and passion in teaching over straight techno-speak.
